AIRBALTIC BOOSTS IRISH SERVICE
Riga…
airBaltic has increased its Dublin air cargo services from four to nine flights per week, with 5 flights per week to Riga (Latvia) and 4 to Vilnius (Lithuania). All flights utilise B737 aircraft with up to 1200kgs capacity. Late evening departures combined with early morning arrivals provide agents with next-day deliveries.
According to Ian McCool of IAM, airBaltic’s Irish Cargo GSSA, the new service is ideal for the pharma-dominated Irish market, with Riga, Kiev and Helsinki proving particularly popular among airBaltic’s 68 destinations. airBaltic was recently awarded the An Post contract from Ireland to Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius.
