TATA TO BUILD LAND ROVERS

According to recent reports Tata Motors Limited of India is to begin assembling Land Rovers in that country in 2011. The Land Rover range is already marketed in the sub-continent by Tata Motors, which acquired both the Jaguar and Land Rover brands from the Ford Motor Company in 2008.

Tata Motors Limited is India’s largest automotive company. It is the world’s second largest bus manufacturer and the world’s fourth largest truck manufacturer. In India the brand is the leader in commercial vehicles in every segment. Sales of Tata commercial vehicles and passenger cars were 67,799 vehicles.
